Shop Fit-Out - Mayyil Knightsbridge

As the main contractor on this design and build job, Yasmeen Property Services were tasked in transforming this shop in a prime location in Knightsbridge to a vibrant take-out concept. Lots of electrical, IT and plumbing work went into this small shop, although small in size it was a complex job.

The restaurant consists of two areas: the kitchen and the lounge. In the lounge, we have tiled the floor in a black and white mosaic tile. We have done a feature wall as well with curved metal cladding. We then painted the walls in a vivid green paint.

In the kitchen, to save more space, we have dug a trench in the ground and laid all our gas piping in it. We have applied safety rubber flooring in compliance with the health and safety regulations required for restaurants. The walls were tiled in an offset pattern on all the kitchen walls. Not only did the bright white tiles make the restaurant more spacious and vibrant but they are also a practical solution as they can be cleaned easily.

The bar was also designed to match that of Beit El Zaytoun in Park Royal. It has storage and cabinets from the inside and a lovely Quartz worktop. This was done by our sister company, Yasmeen Joinery.

More details were carried out from a fire alarm system to a high-end IT fit-out including internet and CCTVs were all installed by us.

The result is a vibrant take-out shop in the heart of Knightsbridge and right opposite Harrods, serving delicious Lebanese Street Food.
