Kensington Home Refurbishment

This was a large-scale refurbishment for a three-bedroom flat in Kensington. The flat was completely stripped out back to its shell and core.

Our architect drew up new plans as we changed the location of the kitchen and removed few walls around. This required planning permission as well as liaising with the building management to obtain a licence of alteration. Once all the paperwork and permissions were granted, we began the building work.

We installed our new partitions and completed our structural work. Two new bathrooms were completely re-tiled with a different colour theme for each bathroom. We installed new wooden flooring thorough the whole flat except for the bedrooms which we installed carpets in.

All new electric wiring was done with the installation of a new fuse box. Previously the flat had no spotlights so with this refurbishment the client wanted spotlights all throughout the property which we did. Painting and decorating was done.

There was a large amount of bespoke joinery carried out in this project by our sister company Yasmeen Joinery. A lovely two-tone kitchen was manufactured and installed. Each bedroom got bespoke wardrobes made with matching bedside tables. The client opted for a grey exterior colour with white on the interior.
